We have our approval to adopt from the US--YAY---
We have a licensed social worker saying we are fit to adopt (yay)
But OUR country in EE needs a psychiatrist to sign off that we are mentally "fit" to adopt.
We called our insurance company (since we do not usually see a mental heath specialist) and they told us it is impossible to get a psych appointment. We could meet with a social worker or a psychologist but that DRs of Psych only write Meds in the US and do not do evals.. argh
after days of phone calls I found a couple of folks that would meet us-- IN JUNE---
